Urbana City Schools is featured in a new collection of resources from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) designed to help Ohio school districts and communities better understand school facility planning.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and OFCC Executive Director Joy Bledsoe recently announced the launch of a new website and video resource guide focused on Ohio’s K–12 school facility programs.
The OFCC produced 26 videos covering topics such as how learning environments have evolved, selecting a school building site, funding opportunities, and the facility planning process. Urbana City Schools is among the districts highlighted through the video series.
The Urbana feature comes as the district continues its work on its Master Facilities Plan, evaluating current facilities and planning for the future needs of students, staff, and the community.
