UHS Animal & Plant Science students completed their Project Based Learning (PBL) on animal nutrition by making a palatable dog treats. These treats meet nutrient requirements of dogs and students passed them out to our furry friends attending the homecoming parade. Students researched recipes, compared ingredients for nutrient content to finally choose one to bake, make labels,  package and pass out at the parade. Students enjoyed the project and even more passing them out to all the furry friends attending the homecoming parade!
