Fall fest

Urbana Junior High School students recently enjoyed a fall festival planned and organized by the Junior High Student Council.

Student Council members worked together to design the event, coordinate activities, and create an opportunity for their classmates to connect outside the regular school day. The festival featured a cornhole tournament, Kona Ice, and a DJ, bringing music, friendly competition, and plenty of school spirit to the celebration.

Planning the festival gave student leaders hands-on experience in teamwork, creativity, organization, and event coordination. Their efforts helped create a fun and engaging experience for the junior high student body.

Events like the fall festival highlight the important role student leadership plays in building school pride and creating a positive school community.
